I recently learned all of the major electric guitar scales and I am so happy. It took me a long time to master them, but I finally did. There were times that I felt like I would never be able to do it, but I never gave up. I found a program on the internet that really helped me out. I highly recommend the program to anyone who is having trouble in this area. It was definitely worth the money that I spent, and it is really effective. Now that I know the major scales, everything else is much easier to learn.

My arms used to always get tired when I played the fast parts on the guitar. A lot of the songs I play are really fast during the chorus. I finally picked up alternate picking and now I don’t have that problem at all. My arms do not get tired as I play the fast parts. I feel better after playing too. Before learning to do it this way, I would sometimes be sore and have aches in my arms. These are gone away now and I am so happy to be feeling better. It was a great thing to learn how to do.

There is a lot of practice involved in the alternate picking technique. Practicing everyday for 20 minutes or more can help you master this technique within a few years. Yes, it can takes years. The more your practice and exercise using the guitar alternate picking technique, the quicker you will master it. Here are some quick tips to help you with this technique. Tip 1: Use up and down strokes without copying the same one twice in a row. Tip 2: Do timing, single string and multiple string exercises in that order. Tip 3: Use the right pick like the Jim Dunlop Jazz III. Tip 4: Keep your hand movements with both your fret hand and pick hand as small as you possibly can. These tips will not only help you master this technique, but also double your picking speed for express guitar licks.
