The local FFA talent competition is being held this weekend at the convention center. Our local team consists of several very talented young men and young ladies. They have held several concerts as fund raisers over the past several months. The funds they have raised go to help pay for several of the members to take melbourne electric guitar lessons in order to improve on their talent. There will be many talent teams competing from across the state. They almost had it wrapped up last year but lost by a very small margin. They have worked really hard to improve this year and are hoping to be the big winners.

I’ve never been one to do things for myself. I was always busy doing things for others but I rarely took the time to take up a hobby on my own or try new things. That was until recently. A friend of mine has just started learning to play Piano, not by taking private lessons but she found a good course on the Internet that uses piano lesson dvds to teach her on her own time.
I was intrigued at how quickly she was learning so I thought if she could do it I could do it as well. I decided to order the same course for about $150 dollars as she had and give it a shot. I have to say it’s only been a couple of months but I’m more confident about myself now that I’ve started learning. By far learning piano is one of the best things I’ve ever done for myself.
