Dreaming of Mastering the Blues
I dreamed of learning to play the blues well. I loved going to the local blues club with my dad and listening to some of these great guitarists play. They made it look so effortless and their sound was more about less is more.
I knew some stuff on the guitar but I wouldn’t consider myself a master. I had taken some beginner lessons but I wanted to translate some of that into the blues rather then just playing acoustic chords all the time. When I went looking for videos I found a few great programs out there that were able to teach me how to play the blues both on dvd or online. The cost was less then private lessons and I was able to learn a lot faster then if I had taken only one lesson a week from a pro.
