There are a lot of different methods you can use to learn the drums. Private lessons are bar none the best method of learning the drums. Unfortunately often people don’t have the time or the money to commit to a private drum lesson once every week.
For those of us that lead busy lives there are learn drum dvd courses and online video lessons you can watch on your own time when you have the chance and pick up new techniques. Sure you might learn a little bit slower then if you were taking private drum lessons but learning something is better then learning nothing at all.
