I have been taking voice lessons for several years now. In the beginning I was told that my voice really showed great promise but now I feel that I am no longer progressing and that I have hit a plateau. Private piano lessons can break the bank even if you shop around for a good price on private instruction. You can safely expect to pay some where between $20 and $40 a week pending where you take lessons from, the quality of the instructor and duration of the lesson. A quick cost savings tip, rather then paying the $20-$40 each week why not invest $150 once and get a years worth of content on a piano lessons dvd set. These sets can replace the need for more then a years worth of beginner piano lessons and you’ll get the same level of instruction but with a lot more flexibility on when you take your lessons and how fast or slowly you learn.
