My Best Friend is Learning How to Play the Guitar

My best friend is trying to learn the guitar. I’ve been teaching him how to play. He is also taking a class on guitar playing as well. Despite all of this, he is struggling to improve before the next session in class. I knew what was going on. Learning how to play guitar scales involves a lot of practice. I mean many hours and hours of practice. And you have to practice smart too. I mastered each guitar scale completely by playing notes up and down without pausing. Only when I could do that is when I moved onto the next scale. That takes time. I encouraged my best friend to make more time for practice.
