My Son Wants to Learn How to Sing Baritone

My son wanted to learn how to sing baritone by this summer. He wants to join the choir and sing along side his father. I understand his reasons but wish that he would be happy with his natural voice. Since he is being very persistent, I have decided to let him take singing lessons. I reminded him that practice is the only way to truly achieve this goal. I also mentioned that criticism from his teacher must be taken seriously although not personally. She will try to help him become a great singer but only if he truly puts forth the proper amount of effort to obtain the results he wants.
