Mama Stones Live Room, cool, intimate, café/bar with a great live room in the heart of Wellington, Somerset, is run by Wendy and Jonathan Joseph. This venue is all about real music. The hand painted interior décor makes Mama Stones one of a kind. There is no other venue like it.

Wendy and Jonathan run an artist development programme from the venue which also enjoys recording studios and writing facilities. In addition to the young artists they work with, the venue has been graced by many talented musicians, including Joss Stone (Wendy’s daughter), Betty Wright; Geoff Watkins (who played saxophone for James Brown for 12 years), Angelo Morris and many more.

Jonathan, a world renowned musician in his own right, is the Musical Director for our developing artists, more accustomed to working with the likes of Al Jareau, David Sanborn, Joss Stone, Ricky Martin and others. He brings a level of professionalism and musical excellent seldom experienced outside London.
